Publications & goods
The IRSE publishes a wide range of technical material on signalling and railway telecommunications subjects. Publications are available at a reduced rate to members of the Institution. The available items are detailed in the publications / sales order form - see more information box for link and can be ordered through IRSE Online.

IRSE News
IRSE News is sent to all members almost every month. It contains technical articles, advance copies of the technical papers read in London and interesting news about members. Details are shown here.

Annual Proceedings
The IRSE publishes an Annual Proceedings which contains the technical papers presented in London and details of other IRSE activities. Current issues of the Proceedings will soon be available in the Members area of IRSE Online, and earlier issues are available on our Australasian section website.

Text Books
There are a number of text books which detail current UK and European practice in railway signal and telecommunications engineering. In addition, reprints of historical material covering earlier generations of equipment and practice are available, since quite apart from any historical interest, in many places such equipment and systems are still in use. There is also a CD ROM containing the IRSE Body of Knowledge, a compilation of information on a wide range of technical subjects.

Technical Reports
The Institution has produced a number of technical reports which provide an overview of specific subject areas.

Conference and Seminar Papers
Copies of many papers presented at conferences, seminars and visits are available, in paper and/or CD ROM format.

IRSE Exam Support Materials
Copies of the examination syllabus, regulations, student resource packs and past papers are available.

DVDs
A double DVD containing remastered historical training films covering mechanical signalling and level crossing equipment is available.

Ties
There is a smart red and blue Institution tie available.

Professional Development Folder/ Log Book
The IRSE has a professional development folder which can be used to record your PD activities. It is also used as a Log Book for the licensing scheme.

Publicity Poster
The IRSE publicity poster can be used in the workplace or at events.

Membership Recruitment Presentation
Please use the recruitment presentation (see more information box) at your workplace to promote membership of the IRSE.
