Welcome to the IRSE Scottish Section web page - we hope it provides useful information on the activities of the IRSE in Scotland for both locals and visitors alike.

Meetings and Events
The Scottish section of the IRSE is very active throughout the year and provides a range of lectures, site visits and social events open to all members and guests of the IRSE in Scotland. In addition we support and encourage the general aims and activities of the Institution including such activities as facilitation of IRSE Exam Study Groups at various locations.

The section committee meets monthly from September through to April each year with meetings coinciding with lectures or other key events on our programme. Section meetings are open to all members and for details of dates and venues please contact the section secretary. Our normal location for lectures, details of which can be found in the Programme of IRSE Events published annually by the IRSE, is Room W118 in the Hamish Wood Building, Caledonian University with most lectures commencing at 17:15 hours. Some lectures are hosted jointly with other bodies such as the PWI and guests and non-members of the IRSE are most welcome to attend. Traditionally we host our Annual General meeting during April each year with a Pub Quiz to encourage healthy attendance.

With the permission of the guest speaker. some lectures may be available in the "more information" panel on the right hand side of this page.
